Gold Coast exhibition shows realities of climate change

The Oxfam Land for Life photographic exhibition will be launched at the Gold Coast Southport Library today, by Australian Greens Senator for Queensland Larissa Waters.

“This haunting exhibition shows the harsh realities of climate change that people in the Pacific Islands are experiencing right now, and puts a human face on those impacts,” Senator Larissa Waters said.

“I am delighted to be launching this exhibition at the Gold Coast, and encourage everyone to come and see for themselves these incredible and moving images of a changing world.

“People on the Gold Coast are already very aware of climate change, and this will be a timely encouragement to continue to be climate-wise in their daily lives and  to hold their governments to account.”
