Greens: Don't miss out, enrol now!

SOUTH BRISBANE ELECTORAL ROLL CLOSES 5pm SATURDAY 7 APRIL

GREENS SAY, "DON"T MISS OUT, ENROL NOW!'

Today Wednesday and yesterday Jo Bragg, Greens Candidate for South Brisbane talked to young people in West End about using their right to vote.  Many had enrolled to vote already but not all!

Jo spoke with Kristy at the bus stop who had moved house but not yet changed her address.

Jo spoke with Andrew outside a cafe. Andrew wishes the Greens luck but felt too unhappy with politics as a whole  and was not enrolled to vote.

Jo Bragg said,“Given Anna Bligh resigned, and there are 78 LNP in parliament already, more people will vote Green this time and the South Brisbane by-election might be very close. So please enrol to vote, and join the 1000s of people voting Green in South Brisbane.

“If you need to change your address like Kristy, go online today then deliver, fax or scan and email your form in to Electoral Commission Queensland.

“If like Andrew you feel that main stream politicians cater to big business, then why not enrol to vote and support a party- the Greens- that stands up for the community and the environment. You can go online at the ECQ site, Andrew and then deliver, fax or scan and email your form in to Electoral Commission Queensland.

Jo continued,“The right to vote is a precious right. Let's help keep Australia a healthy peaceful democracy by using our rights.

“Don't forget that the Greens will always stand up for integrity and accountability in the political process. Electing a Green to Queensland Parliament will help keep our democracy strong by balancing debate.
