About
I wanted to run as the Green candidate for Aspley because I wanted the community to be heard. As a candidate I want to be involved, efficient and approachable. I will listen & take action so the community continues to grow. I will commit to getting the job done.
I was born in Brisbane and raised in Gladstone. My interest in politics and the environment comes from my parents who were both heavily involved in the community. My mother served a term as a local Councillor and my father was involved in environmental groups such as LandCare.
I’m a Qualified Medical Assistant , Aspiring artist and study Counselling with a plan to continue on into a Nursing Career.
I am a Green because I care about the environment, society and the future of Queensland. I believe Queensland is one of the best states to live in. Queensland's astounding natural beauty and diversity is central to our identity and way of life. It provides us with employment, food and water, leisure and inspiration.I’m tired of seeing Queensland destroyed by greed, unsustainable development, poor social policy and ineffectual and absent politicians. I want to see a smart, strong and sustainable Queensland. A healthy Queensland with healthy people and a healthy environment. I want to give the people of the Electorate of Aspley a chance to be heard and a chance to send a message to the major parties; Queenslanders want a better more sustainable Queensland.
