Action by the Queensland Greens has encouraged Logan Council to start urgent improvements to serious flooding problems that risked the health of locals.
Recent flooding exposed the weak sewage infrastructure with a ‘geyser’ spewing raw sewage near Paradise Road, next to IKEA and in the nearby Slacks Creek wetlands.
