The South Brisbane Greens called this week for dusty coal wagons to be covered. Residents like Jacqueline Schneider of Annerley spoke out of hauling bags of black dust from her roof when a new roof was installed. Doctors for the Environment's Dr Daviod Shearman said, in City-South news, that if people can see dust on their roof then its a definite risk. See the City-South News Story at this link and the image link.
The Environment Minister Vicky Darling said that no-one form the public had made a complaint. As the local Greens Candidate I will be assisting affected residents to make a complaint on nuisance grounds, on environmental harm grounds, for both dust and noise. many thanks,
