From Sydney, Graeme Maizey travelled through Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia before returning to complete his studies at Macquarie University in the School of Earth Sciences.
Graeme taught Mathematics, Science, Technology and Geography in Central Queensland and Brisbane, and now works as a TAFE teacher in the southern Brisbane area.
Graeme has worked extensively in social equity programs assisting adults returning to the workforce and higher education, marginalised youth, and senior studies students on alternative pathways to higher education.
Graeme has keen interest in native flora regeneration and in preservation of the biodiversity and physical environment.
