Candidate for Whitsunday

About

Whitsunday needs someone that will represent all sections of the community, someone who is looking at the long term picture, not just short term, “business as usual”. Jonathon has been an active member of the community since moving to the region eight years ago. He has played an active role in many volunteer based organisations ranging from sporting clubs to community radio. He is employed by the Mackay Regional Council in the Habitat Restoration Team and holds a Certificate 3 in Conservation and Land Management. Jonathon is also a delegate for the United Voice Workers Union. Newlyweds, Jonathon and his wife Kieren, are expecting their second child in April.

Queensland is faced with an old and tired ALP Government and an LNP opposition which doesn’t have a plan. Both risk causing further damage to our way of life, our environment and the long-term health of our economy.  Jonathon, 28, has been a candidate at the most recent state and federal elections and has proven himself to be a dedicated, passionate and effective campaigner. These attributes make him an excellent choice to serve the people of Whitsunday well in state parliament.
