About

Peter Jeremijenko grew up in Wavell Heights, and has spent many years working in and around the electorate of Stafford.

He enjoys boating and sailing on Moreton bay and has a keen interest in protecting this natural playground. He remains concerned about the effect of coal seam gas on our farming and agricultural lands, and on Gladstone Harbour, with further expansion due to impact on more rivers and wetlands.  

Peter has been politically active since school and university days and has worked with the Media Entertainers, Arts Alliances (MEAA) to improve rights and conditions for performers. He has worked for 15 years as a stuntman, nine with Movie World, and performed in over 52 movies and TV shows.  He also has been active in promoting and selling green technologies such as solar energy.  

He opposes further privatisation, and is running because he believes in honest and accountable government.

He believes in working towards a more sustainable economy, protecting the rivers and wetlands and implementing a moritorium on coal seam gas.
